• Develop Greater China Region business expansion plans for current Media Distribution platform operations based in Europe

Our Work:

• Conducted research on the media distribution industry in different regions in Greater China, namely, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
• Conduct research on the legal and regulatory viability for wholly owned foreign enterprises to setup media distribution business in Mainland China
• Analysis of competitors and their business models
• Analysis of content providers
• Produce information paper and strategic expansion plan for the Media Distribution business

Results:

• Current legal system prevented wholly owned foreign enterprises from establishing media distribution business in Mainland China
• Provided work-around for setting up fully legal and completely owned media distribution business
• Revealed differences in consumer requirements and based on findings adjusted our action plans.
• Overall project is still in progress.
